There's something about fallen snow with it's defined black and white
contours and sharp precise lines I quite like.
This type of precision also reminds me of the Swiss artist Franz Gertsch
and his fascinating work I saw last winter.
I truly admire him his patience and talent for creating
photorealistic paintings on such a large scale.
Currently there is an interesting exhibition going
on too, if you happen to be in the hood.
